Bonsecours Market

The Bonsecours Market is a jewel in Montréal's heritage. It was inaugurated in 1847 and remains a symbol of Montréal's heyday. An imposing building, it served as the city's main agricultural marketplace for over a century and housed a concert hall and even served as a city hall in the early days of Montréal's municipal government. Recent renovations have turned it into a bustling marketplace that also features sidewalk caf?, shops and exhibitions.

March Bonsecours is also proud to showcase Qu?ec artists, designers and artisans. It houses fifteen boutiques including the Conseil des m?iers d'art du Quebec (Qu?ec's Craft Council), which offers original creations at the artisan's price. Enjoy watching glass-blowing artists at work in the GOGO Glass boutique, and enjoy Quebec-grown products in the three restaurants and caf?terraces.
